Upload guide: what photo works best

Upload a reclined side-front photo with your eyes closed and mouth open.

• Eyes and gaze: Keep your eyes closed, with no hair across your face.
• Framing: Use a side-front view, sitting reclined at the centre-right of the frame, both legs raised and spread, one leg lifted high.
• Just you: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth open and uncovered.
• Light and quality: Pick a sharp, recent, high-resolution image with even, bright light on your face. Avoid dark rooms, motion blur, screenshots with bars and buttons, pictures of a screen, and filters that change the shape of your face.
• Outfit: Wear the outfit you want to see in the result. This template carries over the outfit from your own photo, so choose it deliberately — including a top you like, and also including a jacket or covered shoulders, which will carry over too.
• Do not use: standing full-body shots, back views, mouths covered, dark or blurry photos.
